and innovation hub called “T-Nest”
¨ Tripura has launched its
first incubation and innovation hub called “T-Nest” (Tripura: Nurturing
Entrepreneurship and Startups).
¨
The hub is located in
Hapania, near Agartala. It was created to strengthen the state's startup
ecosystem.
¨
The center aims to
promote entrepreneurship across Tripura.
¨
Chief Minister Manik Saha
formally inaugurated T-Nest under the Tripura State Innovation Mission.
¨
Union Minister of State
for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Jitendra Singh, attended the
inauguration.
¨ T-Nest will serve as a
platform connecting the government, educational institutions, industry, and
investors.
¨
It is designed to support
innovation and promote startup growth in Tripura.
¨
A Memorandum of
Understanding was also signed with T-Hub.
¨ The MoU will also provide
opportunities for support and collaboration at the national level.
