Coordination (WMCC) on India–China Border Affairs in Beijing.
The discussions focused
on boundary delimitation, border management, confidence-building mechanisms,
and cross-border cooperation.

Both sides expressed
satisfaction with the progress made in maintaining peace and stability along
the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
¨ They acknowledged that
stability along the border is essential for the gradual normalization of
bilateral relations.

The Indian delegation
emphasized the urgent need for an early meeting of the Expert-Level Mechanism
on Trans-Border Rivers.
¨ Trans-border rivers were
highlighted as an issue of high strategic and ecological importance.
¨
India and China agreed to
actively prepare for the 25th round of Special Representatives (SR) Talks on
the boundary question.
¨
China will host the
upcoming Special Representatives' meeting.
