the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha.

With this test, India has
joined the select group of countries possessing this advanced propulsion
capability.

Solid-fuel based ducted
ramjet technology is crucial for long-range air-to-air missiles. It
significantly enhances the range of the missile.

It also increases speed
and maneuverability in combat situations.
¨ All major sub-systems of the Solid Fuel Ducted Ramjet system performed as expected during the flight.
¨ These included the nozzle-less booster, solid fuel ramjet motor, and fuel flow controller.
